I’m very sceptical of this new series, a re-boot within 5 years of last one ending seems completely inappropriate. I think even if they couldn’t have kept the original actors they should have just replaced them but kept the story continuity of the series intact.
I’m not a huge fan of the new costume either, though it is growing on me, either that or I’m just putting up with it...
